In previous missions, many of you mentioned ‘privacy’ as one of the three most important rights to have in the digital age, and many also listed the ‘right to privacy’ as one of your rights that is most impacted by new technology.
Article 16 of the Convention states: “No child shall be subjected to arbitrary or unlawful interference with his or her privacy, family, or correspondence, nor to unlawful attacks on his or her honour and reputation”.
So we all agree that we have a right to privacy, don’t we? But does that mean the same thing to everyone?
